Rules

The Fosters Open follows standard Stableford rules with the following amendments:

1. All players must declare their handicap before teeing off on hole 1.
2. Maximum handicap allowed: 28.
3. Lost ball: drop with one stroke penalty, no going back to the tee.
4. Out of bounds: as above — drop at point of crossing with one stroke penalty.
5. Each group must have a designated scorekeeper.
6. Scorecards must be signed and submitted immediately after the final hole.
7. Disputes are settled by the tournament director (Soubs). His decision is final.
8. Dress code: smart-casual. No jeans. Trainers permitted.
9. The after-tournament BBQ is mandatory. No exceptions.

Rules were last updated for the 2009 tournament. Any amendments for the current year will be announced on the day.
